On January 22, I wrote a review stating I had not received the item, though the item was supposedly delivered on Wednesday, January 20, which was not correct. The garnet earrings arrived on Friday evening, after 6 p.m. I am delighted with the earrings. The stones are similar in size to that of a garnet ring I purchased from Gem Stone King as well. The gem stones are very nicely faceted and they sparkle in the light. As with the gorgeous garnet ring, I've long wanted earrings to complement a ring. I'm extremely pleased with the purchase and highly recommend garnet jewelry from Gem Stone King if you are a "January" girl.

Although the earrings are pretty, they are not as well made as I would have liked. The two sides of the clasp don’t meet very well.

These earrings are quite beautiful. They’re very sturdy, have nice sized stones and the color is a beautiful blue topaz. All that said... I am unable to wear them. The wire is too thick to comfortably wear them. For people that have had ears pierced professionally they are most likely just fine.

I would have given these earrings 5 stars except that the lever backs don't close as firmly as I'd like. This is the 2nd pair of lever-back earrings I've bought from Gem Stone King, and I had the same complaint about the 1st pair, so I presume that all of their lever backs are like this. The lever back closes OK, but I have my doubts about how long it will last. I might be wrong about their durability -- I'll try to remember to update this review in a year! As to the Swiss Blue Topazes, they are beautiful and I am completely satisfied with them.
