My husband gave me a 5.6 carat emerald cut amethyst ring for my birthday. It took me a while to find earrings but they were worth the search. The stones have no visible inclusions, the color is dark violet (purple) and the flash is a slightly rose lavender. The style of the setting makes them about the same size as the 5.6 carat stone in my ring, which is exactly what I wanted. The zircons in the setting are barely visible but do sparkle a little which enhances the setting.
