I am a moissanite freak, period. No two ways around it. I first was introduced to it quite a few years ago when I got a ring out of it that matched my really nice diamond. The rainbow fire from the stones left me in awe every time I cleaned them up and looked at them. Back then moissanite was not easy to get. Now, it is a different story.HOW THIS COMESThis cross comes in a plastic bag which has a gift box inside. The gift box has another plastic bag inside which has two more plastic bags in that. Each small bag holds a part of the necklace- chain, and cross.STONESThe stones do not come with any paperwork or verification, so if that matters to you, be aware of that. They are larger stones and are cut with a brilliant style cut so they reflect very well in the right light.REFRACTIONThe magic of these stones is that in direct sunlight and some brilliant artificial light, these stones will turn from a flat white to a burst of rainbow flashes. It is quite beautiful to behold, and quite frankly, distracting sometimes due to the beauty.CHAINThis chain is fine, but not so fine that it breaks too easily like some I have had. There is not any loop on the cross, but the chain slides through the top space of the cross. That makes it difficult to change to a thicker chain so you might have to add jump rings if you want to do that.CLASPThe clasp is very fine. It is hard to do sometimes and if you do not have nails, it might be really hard for you to put this on and off. It is worth the struggle though to wear the cross.MY PHOTOSI want to explain my photos. I have an issue with many current cameras in that they do not capture refraction in stones like this. They tend to bleach it out and focus out sparkle to give a flat appearance. I took a ton of photos of this because I am DETERMINED to capture the rainbow sparkle of these stones.Some of the photos had to be more blurry to capture any rainbow refraction at all, but one of the photos which I labeled is purposely out of focus so you can actually see how much color comes from this cross. It is even more intense in direct sunlight. Today is cloudy so that is the best I could capture.THE BOTTOM LINEThis cross is beautiful. The larger stone means more rainbow sparkles and that delights me. The cross is the perfect proportions for me and I love the size of the stones too. Additional chains may require modification.MY RATINGFIVE STARS. Despite there being no paperwork with this, the stones perform as moissanite does so I am happy with it. The price is pretty good too. I would buy this again in fact, I am considering it for a gift for someone special.
