On its own this is a cool looking pendant. It does not necessarily look religious; a case could be made that it is simply a geometric design. The silver of the pendant is nice. In the center is a brown striated chip. It could easily pass as a stone. This contains a copy of the New Testament. I take their word for it since there is no information on how to open the program. There is a certificate of authenticity. Many people take comfort from the Bible and this is a thoughtful gift for such a person. It comes with an ibexpensive silver chain that has a spring clasp. I would have preferred the superior lobster claw style for the price. The pendant and chain are separately packaged in small plastic bags and housed in a branded navy box. It is a very atteactive piece, appropriate foreither sex. I find it stylish; the more religious will value the Bible and its holy land origins.
