Had this for a month now and I have not had any issues. I was not sure what to expect based on other reviews, but since it was prime eligible I figured what the heck.No issues with machine out of the box. Brand new.Easy set up. Smaller than i expected which is great Takes up less room. Still plenty big cleaner and steam reservoir. Clenaed about 15 peices of jewelry first time and did not run out of steam.Ultrasonic sounds good. I have no way to measure the frequency of the cleaner other than it sounds just like the full size machines I use to clean guns. The dog left the room as soon as I turned it on, so it seems to actually use ultrasonic waves, not just vibrating like some cheap machines do.Steam works great, a little residue with the first spray, but that should be expected. Very controllable valve for regulating amount of steam. Push down all the way and the jewelry flies right out of the tweezers.(Close nearby drains, don't ask why)Cleans just as well as taking it to the local jeweler. I used some Blitz cleaner concentrate, just a little in the water to help clean and it worked perfect. Little blast of steam after that and perfection.The only downside is that it is so easy and fast, less than 10 min from turning it on to done that my wife wants her earrings and ring done every week. Had to find a place for it to stay out instead of emptying it and storing it.

I bought this for my wife to clean up her wedding band and engagement ring and it works well with a polishing solution in sonicator mode. I have also used it on my Casio G-Shock metal digital watch wrist band to clean up the grime and it works well. The steam function puts out quite a bit of steam. Not sure how much of it is just feeling like I'm cleaning it and how much the sonicate mode cleans things up compared to the steam but when combined our Jewely comes out sparkly. It cleans off oils on sunglasses but does not remove smudges so a microfiber cloth and cleaning solution are still needed for that. Was hoping to just throw in sunglasses as advertised and see them come out perfectly clean with no smudges but that is simply not the case. Overall for jewelry this seems like a good investment to make less trips to our jeweler to perform ring cleaning.

I loved it when it worked. It cleaned my jewelry very good. BUT it worked for only 11 months and cost $229, Waiting to hear back from the manufacturer.

I agree with another reviewer that you need to read the instructions. I recommend watching a Youtube video on the Gemoro Ultraspa before reading the instructions. Once you see how it works, it is simple to use and the instructions make more sense. You need to know to avoid: emeralds, opals, pearls and jade to name a few of the softer gem stones listed. Glued stones are to be avoided. The instructions go over that. But any cleaning method for diamonds would be inappropriate for these more delicate gems. The results are impressive. I could not be happier. The gold sparkles as do the gem stones. Gold chains look new. The results match my favorite jeweler. The machine is light weight but sturdy, holds quite a number of pieces in the ultrasonic tank. I covered the bottom of the basket with jewelry and they all cleaned nicely. I was pleased how quickly I could clean all my jewelry. It is roughly 10" wide by 10" deep and 11" high.

This is my second one but the girst didn’t have the ultrasonic too. So I love that! The steam is the same as my first one- works well but I get a lot of water around the counter. So be sure you have room and a towel handy. But man diamonds really sparkle and my gold looks great!

I often wondered why my in-home cleaning with an ultrasonic cleaner was never as good as when I got my jewelry cleaned inside the jewelry stores. The last time I had my rings courtesy cleaned, the jeweller told me that steam cleaners took sparkle to another level. This Gemoro steam cleaner has made my diamonds super sparkly from the comfort and convenience of home - makes everything look brand new again which is a thrill in itself. The clearner is easy to use and only takes 10 minutes from start to finish: 1 minute to brush the pieces, 6 minutes for ultrasonic soak, 3 minutes for steaming. The size of the machine is about the size of a bread maker. Very happy with this purchase.

I purchased this machine even though the general ratings weren't very high. It worked quite well initially. I have a diamond ring that is difficult to clean — the way it's set, it really requires either professional cleaning or a home machine similar to the GemOro UltraSpa.I purchased this at the end of May, 2019 and eight months later, the electrical on it shorted. It doesn't work in any of the outlets in my house, and sets off all the safety on the outlets.Don't waste your money on this product. In fact, the first time I received this product, I had to exchange it right away because the machine I received had erosion and what looked like mold all over different parts.I purchased a smaller jewelry cleaner, with ultrasonic compartment, that has a stronger steam PSI pressure than the UltraSpa for my mother in law, which she said works great. I think I'll be purchasing that one instead next.

Ok,This thing is great. I had read several bad reviews and was afraid I would get a bad one. I ordered an amazon open box used one. It came and looks brand new. Added the water turned it on and just what I was afraid of it leaked. Waited and used it anyway. Makes jewelry like new. Cleans the grease and grime from under the stone to make it sparkle again. When I let it cool I retightened the lid. Turned it on. No leak. Be sure it's tight the first time and you will be glad you invested in this. Has a sonic cleaner on the top. Tweezers to hold item under steam.Dries quickly
