Gold coating on the stem of the crown was flaking off after I had placed the internal piece. I thought, “no big deal since that’s the piece going into the internal holder and shouldn’t affect it.” I was wrong, it was a waving red flag that this piece wasn’t manufactured properly. Started to insert it and get the little bend, snapped right off from the ornamental crown. I had to then thread the remainder through my lip since I couldn’t get it out the normal way, this of course, caused some slight trauma but thankfully I’ve had my philtrum for nearly a year. If you go through with this, buyer beware and at least make sure the company has updated their manufacturing specifications
