The bars are exactly as shown- right gauge, length, and coloring. I was actually surprised that they looked so cool in person. My only issue with them is that my ear appears sensitive to the grooves in these and it was a little difficult getting them in as the grooves made it hard to slide through my ear. My ear is a little sore a day after putting one in but hopefully it'll calm down. This is more of an FYI for others but doesn't detract from my rating because this design is true to the picture. I plan on ordering some of their normal bars.

I hate wearing plain barbells and have been searching for a cute one for so long. I prefer the surgical steel ones, as even the titanium rose gold one I paid $20 for at a piercing shop still had the color rub off. This one is really nice, the color is saturated and the braiding adds design! I haven't noticed the color rubbing off yet (it's been months) but if/when it does I'll just repurchase.

Ball will not come off on 4 out of 7 of these that we purchased total. 3 of them unscrew perfectly. No problem. The others will NOT budge. Yes, we are turning them the right way. Yes, numerous of people have tried. Cant wear them if you can't get at least one end off. Very frustrated that I can't wear over half of the bars that I purchased

Overall the looks and quality is pretty good for the price. But extremely uncomfortable to wear/sleep. I’ve had my piercing for 6 years and up until I changed to this barbell I’ve never had any discomfort. I think the braid/grooves are what’s irritating the holes of my piercing.
