This ring is not a statement ring, but it is lovely. I agree that it looks more expensive than it is. I find it very comfortable and true to size. It feels substantial. The garnet is a deep red.

This ring looks rich and substantial. The silver is very polished and my garnet looks red with just a tinge of brown. The top of the ring is smooth other than the garnet and it swirls upwards at the outside end. I don't know what the dark S-shaped shadow is on the item depictions but the top of the ring is smooth. Listed at 1.25 carats, the garnet on my ring looks smaller than the stones on the rings other customers have posted photos of. Overall it is a very modern, expensive looking ring and I highly recommend it.

The garnet is a rich deep red with lots of sparkle.The band of sterling silver is rich looking, sleek, solid, feminine, and it shines beautifully.The minute it arrived, I opened the box and said, “wow!”It looks MUCH more expensive than a $30.00 ring. It looks like like 14k white gold.I put it on my finger and haven’t taken it off since.If you love garnets with true color, set in a gorgeous silver band, this is the one.
