I bought these at the end of August and have worn them almost every day since then. I got two sizes and wear the small ones in my second lobes. I also struggle to find earrings I can wear because I'm allergic to most metals. I can actually wear these daily and they look as good as new. I have gone swimming and backpacking in them. As I have gotten older, the hole in my ear has stretched. Often earrings just pull my earlobe down and I have gotten very self conscious about it. But I just have to wear earrings! I recently bought a very expensive pair of gold “huggie” earrings and I wore them almost exclusively. Then I saw these on Amazon. They were very inexpensive and I like them so much better than the others. They fit snugly, are easy to snap on and off, and do not stretch my ear at all. While they are plated, you can’t tell the difference from solid gold.

These huggie hoops work in the cartilage piercings I got years ago, before I knew the difference between the gun and professional piercers. I wanted this fit, but the curved type simply could not do the job! They are very shiny and delicate, but thick enough to have a definitive impact in a curated ear.
