I developed a nickel allergy and had to get rid of almost all of my earrings. I had one gold earring I could wear in my cartilage piercing, and one of the balls on it was double threaded. It finally occurred to me I could look into other types of earrings. I researched and found that titanium is safe for people with nickel allergies (there's no nickel in the alloy)This earring is really elegant and comes in different colors and different options for the chain. It fits my ear perfectly and I love how it looks.

Cute but it won't stay clasped

This is pretty weak and will catch on EVERYTHING and unhook itself or pull at your ear. I caught the little loop connecting the chain probably once a week and it did some damage to my year old piercing. The metal didn't irritate it though. I had to take it out and put in just a normal hoop because it needed to reheal and couldn't stop getting caught on stuff, like normal very uncatchable things like a T-shirt, it'd ruin the T-shirt AND catch on my ear.
