I swapped my straight bar for a ring hence the irritation. My ear has to heal all over again lol. But I've had no reaction to the metal ring at all, I loved the various sizes and the ring is easy to clip. I sleep with it in and it hasn't come out at all in the months I've been wearing it 👍
