The cat earrings are adorable. The backings screw in and unscrew very easily. Both backings were lost on the first day. The studs are thick and short, so the only alternative backings are the plastic ones.

The kitty cat earings are very cute and the posts are substantial...but the backs are tiny little balls that screw on and I couldn't find the tiny little holes to screw to the posts. Fortunately for me, I have earing backs of different styles and found ones that I could push onto the posts... problem solved!

These earrings are really cute and comfortable. They look as pictured. The stainless steel doesn't irritate my ears, and I find them comfortable to wear for sleep and showering.

The posts may be surgical steel, however, I don't believe the rest of the earring is. I waiting until 12 weeks after piercing to change my daughter's earrings (recommended 8 weeks). Both ears swelled and bled/pussed. The ears bruised like they had been in a trauma and we are currently in the healing process. They are super cute and I am sad for my daughter that they did not work out.
