I wanted to switch out my silver jewelry for gold, and I was prepared to spend 3x as much on Etsy but I'm glad I checked Amazon! I was able to make one purchase for four sets of earrings, of which I only need 3 hoops, and I still saved money.I LOVE the hinged hoop design. I previously had captive bead and horseshoe hoops, but I wanted a sleeker continuous hoop. They were easy to hold and put in, as opposed to fumbling with those tiny balls (that's what she said). I've been wearing them for over a week, including in the shower, and they are holding up well! No irritation or green discoloration. My only complaint is that they more of a dull/dark gold, as opposed to a brighter yellow gold.TIP: To open the hinge easily... slide the hoop between the two prongs of a bobby pin so that it's dangling at the end, then hold the hoop with one hand and the bobby pin in the other and pull gently. The hinge will pop open easily! Don't do this over your sink, just in case the hoop falls.

I bought these for my wedding because I have a lot of ear piercings and a nose piercing and I wanted them to match for once. It was great that they came in an array of sizes and I love the hinge clasp because captive beads are such a huge pain and after years of wearing them I'm done. I was a bit skeptical that the hinges would last but they've been in over year and they're easy to take out and clean. I like the rose gold and that hasn't faded. They also don't irritate my ears which a lot of cheaper jewelry will do. They work great for me especially for the price.

i usually have to use sterling silver, surgical steel( which only sometimes work for me) or gold because i am prone to infections, but these worked GREAT.

For the ones that worked, the set is awesome. However, 3 out of 8 would not clasp. Don't want to bother with a return since I have 5 of them in my ear. I just didn't get to change out the other 3 so I have two different hoop styles going on right now.
