I really like these earrings for a few reasons. To preface this, I have two upper cartilage piercings. As the swelling decreased in my ear, after piercing it a number of months ago, my earrings that I have been wearing for a few months have an annoyingly long post now (6mm). I wanted a shorter post, and as I approach my summer job, I want a flush fit to my ear so that nothing I am working with gets caught and my hair won't get stuck in it (I have an outdoor job and I work with ropes and equipment that could get caught; I also have long hair that is often everywhere). I think I found the ones right here!1. There are so many different post lengths and each one comes in a pair. I got these because I wanted to downsize my upper cartilage piercing from a 6mm bar to something smaller so that it would sit flat against my ear so it will not get caught on my hair as easily. The different lengths give me a lot of options for sizes and I found one that worked great. The balls also screw onto whichever post you choose, so there is extra flexibility in pairing bars with the balls. I really dislike extra bar poking out in my piercings, so these are great.2. The flat back is great! I love the flat back as opposed to a ball back. Because of this, I insert the bar from the back of my ear and the ball screws onto the front. Way easier than trying to screw the ball onto the back of your ear whilst trying not to drop it. Because of the short bar length and the thin plate on the back of the earring, there is not bulk on the back and it is a flush fit on either side of my ear.3. They package the balls in separate bags from the posts. I think many of us have experienced the frustrations of not being able to unscrew the balls off of new jewelry. In this case, I did not have to worry about that as they were separate upon arrival, which was very convenient.4. Here is what I am unsure of. I have never had issues with balls falling off of posts while wearing jewelry that I have put in myself; however, taking them out is sometimes difficult. These earrings have a really low profile backing (that I love) which is hard to grip. My plan is to wear these earrings all summer without changing them often because of the job I work. That said, I wonder what it is going to be like to take them off. One hack that I usually do for ball earrings is using a Kleenex to create friction as I try to twist the ends. I assume that will work, but I will have to see after I wear them for a longer period of time. No reasons not to get them at this point though.

I wanted to order these because there were multiple sizes and surgical steel. I had some new piercings that had jewelry put in that was too short, and I also was getting those piercing bumps (hyertrophic scars). I needed longer posts to use with my No Pull discs. I technically put these in backwards with the ball in back because it was easier. They worked like a charm! Within a month, they helped my get my piercings to a happier place so now I can wear the original jewelry, with even some wiggle room! These are perfect for anyone with new piercings that need to start with longer posts and then gradually shorten them during the healing process. There are mulptile ball sizes, and I used the middle size because it was the easiest to twist on. The smaller ones can be more difficult, especially if you have longer nails like me. They stayed on and didn't unscrew on their own in my experience. I'm glad I have these just in case for future new ear piercings!

I bought this because of the bar length options. Specifically the 4mm and 5mm length. They seem harder to find. However the balls don't want to screw all the way onto the stud on those lengths for me. Only one 5mm would allow a 3mm ball all the way on. The 4mm with the 2.5mm balls or the 3mm ball wont screw down all the way, when I say this I mean you can still see the threads on the stud. The ball will seem tight and stays on..but I hate how there are still threads left and I feel they just wont go on completely.

I got my labret pierced. Everything was fine. Then the ball + bar I got broke because the ball was plastic apparently. I got another bar + ball combo. It fell out. $10 at my local piercing shop gone. Next day, I got a bar + ball and a hoop. $20 at the piercing shop. The bar + ball broke. I was stuck with the lip piercing all day. It was very uncomfortable for my 8 hour work shift. Thankfully by the next day this package arrived with the whole arsenal of ball + ball piercings to replace the oversized hoop with. Since I've put these piercings in my labret has done very well healing and is almost entirely done with the white pus phase of a lip piercing. I am thankful to have extra bar + balls because I always worry it will fall out but these piercings have done a very good job of not falling out. I tighten the ball about once a day in the morning but besides that I have not had this piercing fall out and it has been great for healing the spot it was pierced. I can not recommend this package enough as it would cost you almost $100 at a piercing shop for the same thing this package offers you for significantly less price while still maintaining great quality.

These are a god send. I had a hoop and needed a stud. This pack gave me the exact size I needed and was so easy to get into my piercing. And I have extras for my other piercings

the ball size is exactly what i wanted and i had no issues with it coming loose or falling off. as for the posts i do wish there was just a bit more variety in size as i like a more snug fit without it being too tight but you can’t have it all lol. overall i recommend :)
