Well, I guess you get what you pay for! I thought these looked pretty online but in person they look like cheap plastic. I knew instantly when I opened the paper envelope they arrived in they were not going to work for my black tie event. They literally looked like play jewelry I had when I was a child. Like something out of a cracker jack box type quality...low! I would not recommend these unless you are using them as part of a costume.

These are great statement earrings, very colorful, and they look great. However, the colorful gems are not actual crystals or gemstones, they're acrylic, and doesn't have that "glossy" shine or sparkles, had they been real crystals/gemstones. I think glass crystals would have still been better, if they're cut a certain way, with 3D effect, they can have the same sparkles as real crystals.Overall, these look nice and colorful, they're not heavy at all, but they're also not too lightweight. They are fun and vibrant, but the quality isn't the best. It comes in a plastic bag, no fancy presentation box, like some other ones I've purchased/received.These come with extra backings, and one of the clear plastic from one of my earrings has already gone missing. I am not sure if it fell off during packaging. I will likely wear these with different backings (gold color).
