I’ve always dreamed of owning a strand of round white pearls to wear on special occasions such as weddings, fancy dinners, and such, so I was really looking forward to receiving this “Women's Genuine Pearl Necklace Set AAAA Ivory Cultured Pearls | Pagoda Chain18inch14K Gold Rim Pearl Earrings-925 Sterling Silver Clasp” by Weixinghera. While I really wanted to fall in love with this strand of white and ivory pearls, but it’s just that a few of the pearls I received on this strand has a lot of flaws in them, as you can see on some of my photos above. One big round pearl in the middle of the strand doesn’t even look round at all, which stood out from the rest of the pearls, as it looks more like a baroque pearl, which really doesn’t belong to these strand of round pearls. Then, some of the pearls have brown or rusty stuff in them, others have dips and lines and holes. Although, most of the pearls are lovely in quality and blemished-free. Additionally, the pearls aren’t knotted in between them, which is rather helpful to have in a strand of pearl to keep the pearls from rubbing off each other and to keep them from falling apart and from falling all over the place in case the string breaks apart.That said, I do appreciate however, how each pearls on this strand are real/genuine. Most of them also have beautiful creamy/ivory overtones, with high luster, and thick nacre. I also quite adore the pair of earrings that came with this set as they are beautifully designed and the pearls as little as they are, are perfect genuine pearls with no flaws whatsoever. I also like the beautiful packaging, as this necklace arrived gift-ready. Price-wise, this would have been reasonable as it comes in a set of necklace and earrings, if the pearls didn’t have too many flaws/blemishes. That said, I still recommend checking this set of pearl necklace and earrings out, because maybe I just received a defective item. Maybe yours will be better as I’ve seen this happened with my previous pearl purchases, wherein one pearl of the same design and of the same price from the same brand, is perfect whereas, the other is not. I am very disappointed with this pearls. It is so cheap looking because there are pearls that has a scratches and looks like someone poke them and scratch them intentionaly. And that made it looks so cheap. This pearls is very expensive and it is not worth it. I feel tricked.

Loving this pearl set. When the pearls are rubbed together and rubbed against the teeth there is the sandy friction one would expect from genuine pearls. I was doubting this would be genuine but I believe now that I have a set. This item is more beautiful than what is shown in the stock photos. The earrings are also more beautiful On than what they look like off the ear lobes. The posts for the earrings are very long and arrived bent, thus reason for star deduction. This item is very gift-able and arrives in a box that can be used as a jewelry box long-term for the necklace set.
