I'll lead out by saying that I generally have pretty sensitive ears...not sensitive enough that I know what metals to avoid, but sensitive enough that my ears get itchy after around 3-4 hours of having a lot of "cheap" earrings in. I didn't have that problem with these, so that was a really happy surprise for me!I love the look of these! They feel pretty sturdy, and they look super cute! I love pearls but needed something to *elevate* my basic single-pearl look. This totally fit the bill. The gold bars are on the side of the pearls, not behind them, so they are visible when you wear the earrings, and I love the look! My husband's words: "very modern." They are a little bit bigger than I was expecting, but I also think I just have small ears lol. They're not so big that they look weird, or anything like that. They're just slightly bigger than I was picturing in my head.The backs are very interesting. I've never seen backings like these before! They are covered in like a clear plastic/rubber/silicone layer so they're not stabbing you all day. I really like them!

Got these for my daughter and right away I noticed when she put them on they are a tad heavy for her ears maybe more for an adult or someone who does not mind heavy ear rings. They look nice and have a nice color. Also keep in mind that these are gold plated so they are made out of a different metal which could explain the extra weight. Overall she liked them and they looked nice. The Sterling silver studs might also irritate some peoples ears.
