My 14-year-old daughter has been trying a number of new jewelry items in recent months. She saw this necklace set and has been wearing it fairly often for a few weeks. It's working out well.Because of the price, I was quite skeptical that these would last. But they turned out to be pretty good. The gold color is fairly natural, and the "gems" actually look pretty good. The designer made a smart choice in keeping the gems narrow and on the small side, which allows them to just be a hint rather than a loud statement. The chains are thin, but sturdy enough, and they have not kinked up at all. The coating has not chipped or shown any discoloration.The presentation does not make a great impression, in case you are considering giving these as a gift. The pieces come in simple boxes, with stretched plastic covers. It's not ugly, but it's also not a sign of great care in packaging.Overall, a good pair of decent chains with attractive gems that give an appearance above their price range. I recommend them.
