Love this watch

I love my watch. It is great for a business person who does not want a watch that looks like something you wear to the gym. People are amazed that it is not just a watch. The only reason not 5 stars is I have a hard time with such a large watch face. I am sure they will have the technology to make smaller faces eventually.

Luving my Fossil Hybrid Smartwatch, and I truly enjoy all the features it comes with. I'm thinking of buying another Fossil smartwatch for my son.....he luvs my watch.

I really like the look of this watch--the big face and very narrow band, it's kind of different looking and I like that. Pairing the watch to your phone (and trust me, you can't avoid learning this because I think all watches are going this way) is pretty easy once you know how to do it, lol. To get started there is a very good video on Youtube (and I assume on the Fossil site) that will help guide you through the set up. You can get the app either through Google or the Apple app store. To get messages, for example, dssentially what you do is assign a number (1-12) for each of your contacts and then both hands of the watch will jump to that number to let you know you have an incoming message from that person. If you want to ignore them you can. So if you assign "1" to your main squeeze and they text/call you, the hands will jump there. I think (not sure though) that all of the Fossil watches Q watches offer the same pairing functions (take a picture, provide distances, etc.) and it won't take long to learn them. I'm still not totally clear on why people need to refer to their watches for a lot of this stuff since most people are glued to their phones already (and I find taking a photo clumsy with a watch--and I have several different brands), but that might just be me. I learn this stuff because I'm a gadget freak (it came to me late in life) and I like to stay a little young technologically.Anyway, a pretty watch and it won't take long to learn the smart features once you get the app and spent a half hour playing with it. Oh, by the way, changing the battery (every six months or so) is really blessedly easy on this watch--and for that I thank Fossil.

This is the cutest little watch! The think pink band goes great with loads of my clothes and doesn't have that overly techy look that many such pieces have. It was easy to pair it with my phone and easy to use. At this price you can't beat it!

I've had this Fossil Q Women's Annette Pink Leather Hybrid Smartwatch for about a week now. The biggest challenge of it was getting the Fossil Q app on my iPhone. I blame my phone on that but once it was on my phone and sync'd up, it works for what I need it do which is: (1) give accurate time and (2) track my steps. My fitbit Flex 2 is good but the sync'ing was so slow that I wanted something that sync'd faster, plus I was tired of wearing the fitbit and also a watch. I had Fossil smartwatch and I lost it but I remember liking it so I figured that it didn't hurt to try this out.Like others may have noted, the band may be a concern if you want to use the tracking for something more intensive. My goal is to use it to track daily steps and not for heavy workouts so I'm good with the design. I don't think I'll ever use the feature to take photos but the music feature is only good if you have your phone on you, but again, that's not really a reason why I wanted this particular watch. The music and photo feature are nice-to-haves. The main thing is that it tracks my steps, gives good time, and sync's up fairly quick to display my stats so I like the watch as it fits my needs.

The rose gold is beautiful as is the pale pink of the strap - so feminine!! But the strap looks too thin next to such a large and thick watch. My biggest complaints are that sleep app doesn't work. If I'm awake for a couple hours in the night it shows up as light sleep. The vibration is not strong enough even on full strength, and the app does not give clear enough instructions. Spent a lot of time figuring out how to use this thing.Features you can set in the app:Alarm - accessed by clicking on picture of watch in upper right corner. Alarm is a vibration.Sleep - wear watch when sleeping and app tells me how many hours I got.Notifications - vibration notifies on watch, with movement of hands to chosen clockface number for each app or contact that I preset in Fossil app.Activity tracker - progress toward the walking goal I preset in Fossil app. Here are the features I've chosen to use on the three Buttons:1) notifications - Push button to show selected number of last notification.2) activity tracker - Press button and the hand moves to the interior percent numbers to show progress toward the chosen walking goal.3) goal tracker - Press button to count drinks of water4) push button to ring phone, point to date, start stopwatch, or take photo (from phone camera remotely) - I change one button according to my changing needs.I don't feel the vibration most of the time in my loud busy environment, even though I chose the strongest of the three strengths (click on upper right watch picture). And that kind of defeats the purpose of alarm and notifications!! (Should be OK in quiet/ sedentary environment.)Also rather limited options for a smartwatch. I really wish I could have my alarm go off after a certain amount of sleep, or at the right point in my sleep cycle.
