I LOVED the size of the beads on this costume jewelry set! They were purchased from Amazon.com to compliment a 1050s poodle girl outfit. The wide, flouncy skirt with poodle applique, white poofy-sleeved blouse, bobby socks, pale pink can-can half slip, pale pink shrug, 1950s-style banged and flipped up ends bob with a white headband, and saddle shoes completed the outfit! All the compliments (for the relative for whom I purchased the outfit) were worth the research of finding everything on Amazon. The earrings are clip-on and the necklace had a small clasp on it that held together in spite of all the bounding around that was done! The price was right, delivery fast (as always with Amazon), and item securely packaged. This was an affordable pleasure and appealing fun item!

This is a significantly disappointing purchase. Both earrings broke when we removed them from the package. Thank goodness we have a glue gun. The necklace is sized for a flintstones costume, not a 50's girl.

This set is great for a 50's look, it is quite costumey. However, now that the size of the pearls is huge, you can't tell from the picture in the site, but the pearls are about .25" in diameter (about). So, if you are looking for a small set of pearls this are not for you, these are more statement than anything else!
