I have an 8mm hoop in and it looks small. This was way too big though. The clasping mechanism was good and easy, but I did not like the size of the nose ring itself.

I normally wear a 8mm diameter hoop but this was much larger than that. It is very easy to open and close. Very loose and annoying to wear because of the large size. It is so pretty, just wish the bar to close it was straight instead of curved.

The tarnish says... not steel. I will say it didnt bother my piercing amazingly. This was wayyyy to big for my daith piercing, which was my fault for not taking into account the decorative size. It made sounds muffled on that side because it blocked my ear canal. Wore for maybe two weeks before I decided it just wasn't for me. Two stars because of the tarnishing, but not its fault is was making it harder to hear because of its size.
