At about 18 weeks my top belly button ring started to get really irritated from the tugging and catching on clothing when wearing my normal ring. It actually got a bit infected and I panicked and bought the long plastic rings. They made it worse because they leached onto the bacteria. It hurt so bad and nothing I was doing was working. I found these and they were so small and perfect for what I needed. Easy to clean and maintain! My piercing healed up right away. They're super cute and dainty. I'm 30 weeks now and these have been great, I do think I'll need to switch over to the plastic ones to finish out the pregnancy though since these are getting to the end of their length. Wish I could get them a tad longer as they've truly been so comfortable!

this is 100 percent not 16 gauge, but it is 16mm long. I just took out my true 16 gauge jewelry and it is much thicker than this. This is either 18g or maybe even 20g fr. I want my money back for sure but I’m pregnant and just trying to keep my piercing open with whatever’s long enough…. Wouldn’t buy this one again though if jewelry size is important to you, which it usually is

Bought this product for the length of the bar. Shopping online for piercings is easier than shopping locally because you have so many more options and sizes that you can pick from. Was super happy with my purchase.

This product did not cause any allergic irritation, the steel is high quality. However, the gauge seems to be 18g so if you want to downsize your belly ring this should work. If not, opt for something else.
