I used this earring for my fully healed helix piercing. Within hours of inserting it, my ear got severely inflamed. I treated it with antibiotic ointment for 2 weeks and the inflammation subdued a bit. As soon as I stopped with the antibiotics, my ear became red and swollen, so I removed this earring and inserted another one for which I am sure it was made of titanium. The inflammation is gone, so now I am convinced this earring was the culprit.

I have ordered this before, and it was fine. This time (I lost the last one), it is bent. It doesn’t lay flat on a surface and makes it more difficult to put in.
