I used the 16G 10mm for my medusa piercing and this jewelry is seriously the best! I was really struggling with the healing process, and kept developing this pustule that would bleed (and it looked really gross). I had downsized with a piece of jewelry that was sterling silver, and that ended up being a huge mistake! Within a day of switching to titanium, the pustule went away and the skin around my piercing looked great! I’m super happy with this product and would definitely recommend it! With the 10mm size, the piercing sticks out a little when I smile, so I may try the 8mm instead.

While these are a little difficult to screw on—the tops are screws, and if you shake, they can be slightly difficult to put on, since they are super tiny—these posts are PERFECT for sensitive ears. I have them in my cartilage and in my fourth and fifth holes, and they are amazing to sleep in. I used them as a piercing stud, after piercing my own ear with a needle. I highly recommend them! Just make sure you get some help from someone with small fingers—that rhinestone cap is tiny! But it stays on really well, one it’s screwed in. :)

I got these to replace butterfly backed helix studs with a flat back because I'm tired of getting stabbed while I sleep. The earrings appear to be good quality, but they're super tiny. While I incorrectly guessed at the size I was replacing (I thought they were 18 gauge posts, but they are 16 gauge), I was a little disappointed at how tiny the actual stone is in these flat backs. The ad says they are 3mm, but they're significantly smaller inside the setting than the 4mm earrings I'm replacing. That aside, these earrings are so tiny that they're very difficult to manipulate. I couldn't even unscrew the stone on one of them, but my husband was able to unscrew the other for me. After fiddling with it a bit and almost losing first the post then the stone, I realized that I was never going to be able to change these earrings if I want to wear anything other than these. They're easy to drop and difficult to screw. I realized within minutes that if I didn't put them back in their bag, I was going to lose them. If you're the kind of person who likes very tiny, dainty earrings that aren't overly sparkly, puts them in and leaves them, these would be great. If you like a little more noticeable, bigger sparkle in your studs, and you want to be able to easily change your earrings now and then, as I do, then these might not be right for you. I'll have to return these and get a pair that's got a bigger, easier to grip stone, and the 16 gauge post I need.Photos of my old butterfly back earring along side the replacement flat back for size reference.

I got the 16g 8mm stud.It is hard to screw on the ball on the post as the screw is INCREDIBLY tiny.I have a tragus piercing and needed help from 4 different people to put it in initially. It fell out once and I needed 2 people to help put it back in.And last week it finally unscrewed itself while I was asleep and I lost the ball and the post completely fell out.All that aside, the material of the jewelry itself is great as I have sensitivities to anything other than titanium and it looked great and served its purpose while it lasted (October to March).

The bar is long enough to accommodate swelling. The flat back is comfortable if you happen to roll over in your sleep. The ball screws easily and securely into the post.

Unable to unscrew the ball from the post on both of the earrings so I am unable to wear them since I can’t take them apart. Kinda disappointed because they were cute

This product was as advertised and was good for my sensitive ears. I did not react to it. I had ordered others that caused a reaction, so definitely recommend this company‘s products.

I bought this to replace a normal ear-piercing earring with bulky back for the flat back so I could use in-ear headphones again. I did not put the earring in myself (I went to a tattoo/piercing artist who changed it for me) but there were no issues from what I could tell. They were able to insert it and screw the front in without a problem. The picture does do the gem justice in terms of it NOT being the full 3mm but being a 3mm ball w/gem. I think it looks great. Happy to answer any questions you have! **I put these in on 3/6/19 - will update if my feelings change.
