As soon as this curved barbell arrived, I knew it would work just fine for my eyebrow. At first, I couldn't unscrew either ball. So I just used a little pair of pliers to loosen the ball to turn. And by the way, EVERY person with piercings should have access to 2 sets of pliers (or at least 1, if you wear simple barbells like these). They don't have to be expensive, cheap will do, as long as they work. A flat-nose plier will work fine to assist in unscrewing and screwing the pieces securely. It can be used to periodically tighten your piercings. I'm sure you all know how that goes.Ladies, Guys, don't lose your balls. They are very important. Right, John? Right.Ok. Now. The reason why 2 pliers can be really useful, is that they can both be used to seperate a ring. One holds one end steady, and the other one slowly pulls the metal away. That is what I had to do before surgery on my deviated septum (my nose. Crooked septum & swelling=no breathing.)Oh, and yeah. If you get a similar surgery, remember, no metal on your face. It can literally burn your skin otherwise. And it has. I told them I didn't care, because I knew it would be hard to take everything out. The doc wasn't havin' it. No way, he wouldn't endanger my body like that. Smart guy. Haha. Also, 2 pliers can even help to unscrew any ball that is on waaaayy too tight. Our fingers don't have enough grip sometimes. But the flat-nose pliers can save the day.I'm a jewelry designer, I use various tools, so I know what I'm talking about. PLEASE don't give these guys like 2 stars just because you couldn't figure out how to open the end. That's totally on you, my friend. So this curved barbell is shaped perfectly, and the length is exactly right for my eyebrow piercing. I love the aurora borealis gems on the end. They are a little bit smaller than what I prefer, but they add a tiny sparkly flair to your jewelry. And I always choose this kind over clear gems. It catches the light better, and shows off its facets, and the various colors it projects. No big issues. It's still in there, after a couple weeks, so I am very cool with this choice.I'm betting you will be too. It's the perfect mix of modesty, slightly sparkly, and obvious noticeable. It's metal. In your face. What else would it be but noticeable?I believe I'll be buying another one. I have 2 piercings in one eyebrow. And for some reason, none of the barbells I have on stand-by are quite as perfect as this one. I just love it. You will too.A+. Bravo. F for Fantastic.Haha.

I got my Rook in my ear pierced in July and after seeing 2 Drs for how terrible it looked and them both saying it wasn't infected, I decided it had to be the jewelry they used to pierce it. I can only wear gold because of a metal allergy so I was hesitant to try this. Within 3 days the redness, swelling and everything else was completely gone. I am happy with the look of this earring too. Very comfortable with just a little bit of sparkle. Anyone looking for an earring like this with a metal allergy should go ahead and give this a try. I did and it saved my Rook piercing. Very Happy! (P.S. I went back to the shop asking them to change the earring out and they wouldn't do it for me because they said Amazon couldn't guarantee that it was Surgical Steel, but the earring they used was supposed to be Surgical Steel but theirs was the one I had a problem with...hmmm. I trust Amazon over them now!)

The media could not be loaded. The balls are pretty small but it feels more comfortable for me as I use it as an oral piercing. So far no problem

This barbell is super cute as a naval piercing. It's nice and dainty and understated (I find a lot of naval jewelry oversized and gaudy). It also didn't irritate my skin (I tend to have metal allergies). The first barbell I got, one gem fell off rather quickly, but the seller promptly sent me a replacement. I'm super impressed with the customer service and I love the product. Would definitely purchase from this seller again.

I used this product as a daith ring. I needed something small and relatively "unoffensive" in a business sense for my job. This did the trick. It fit with a bit of room to spare (not a challenge to fit it through the cartilage) and its very comfortable. Sometimes I forget I have it in. I would definitely recommend it for similar uses for the daith piercing, and for those who need a work appropriate alternative to larger hoops.

I bought this because another earring was making my ear near infected, and this made my rook piercing area better within one day😊 10/10

Very nice but too small for my eye brow.

Ordered an 8mm barbell for my rook. What I received was 10mm and wasn’t the look I was going for. Decided to wear it for a day, and the bottom balls fell off within 2 hours. It was screwed on as tight as possible, I didn’t touch it once it was in, and my hair was up. Seems pretty cheaply made.
