For the price, it's a good deal. These things have been floating around ebay for a while and the downside is they're made of a metal that often contains lead, so it might be good to give them a coating of acrylic or polyurethane to keep them from touching skin, but it's a cool trinket. A second downside is that it may have little holes that look like they're made to hold a photo to the locket using a plastic clip, but no such clip exists, so you need to glue the photos in.
