The fixwal small jewelry travel case is a sturdy and attractive jewelery storage box that can be used at home or on the road trip. We use it mostly for travel but also use it for smaller rings and bracelets at home. We like it.

It’s pretty cheap so I wasn’t too surprised when it looked it. It looks like it was hot glued together and probably won’t last forever but it did what I needed it to do. I was able to fit a good amount of jewelry inside especially because you can remove some of the sectioning pieces. It’s not very big so I found it good for traveling. If you’re looking for something inexpensive it’s not awful but if you want something that’ll last you should invest in a different one.

Visible globs of glue. Falling apart. Interior compartments are all crooked. Tab is really flimsy. Cheap material. Do not bother.

I really wanted to like this. My current method of packing my jewelry when I travel is to put each set of earrings and the necklace I plan to wear with them in a small ziplock bag. Then I put all the small ziplocks into a larger ziplock and tuck it into my suitcase. This little jewelry case seemed like the perfect solution. It is very small. The picture is taken on a piece of 9x12 Inch construction paper to show size. The outside of the case is lined with a soft, velvety material. Inside are compartments for rings, necklaces and earrings. And I really like the fact that there is a small mirror!BUT there are a few of issues with this case. Two are relatively minor. First, it won't hold my largest hoop earring without taking out the divider and sacrificing 4 spaces. It also isn't super sturdy—it doesn't take a lot of pressure to push on the top so that it isn't in line with the bottom. But I don't consider these huge issues, because I can work around the large hoops, and I won't put pressure on the case. For the price it is nice quality. The reason for my rating is the snap latch. No matter how hard I press on it, I can not get it to snap closed. I've been trying on and off for a couple of days. Without being latched, the top will fly open in my suitcase, which make the whole thing kind of useless. I will continue to use it by using a couple of strong rubber bands to keep it closed. But that isn't a very elegant solution, and kind of cancels the effect of the pretty velvet. I'm assuming this is just a fluke—that I just happened to get a bad one and most work just like the should. If that is true, these would make a great gift. Just be sure to check the latch before you gift it.
