I have collected watches for the past 5 years. My collection is growing tremendously, and I just returned from a cruise with 8 more. I bought the first 2 of these watch cases 2 years ago, and have now just ordered my third which will arrive any day. I have new watches and vintage watches, mostly Swiss from Cartier to Rolex, to Tissot and Rado, and some Citizen, Seiko, and Bulova pieces. The majority of my watches fit in very well. As some writers have noted, yes, very large watches may not fit perfectly, but I think they fit well enough, as I have a 42 mm Corum Romulus, 44mm Rolex Deep Sea and a 46.5 mm Bulova Precisionist. Moving the larger pieces to the center part of the case seems to work out well. Based upon the price of this case, and the number of watches it holds, it is fantastic. It has a clear glass top to display all of my watches and keep them dust free. I can easily show them off to friends and family, and likewise view my collection myself as well as plan which I will be wearing later that day! :) I have had no problems with the shipping or quality of the product. The "leatherette" sides are fine with me. I am not going to do a scientific test to compare leatherette to real leather, but it does the job well enough and looks fine. I even recommended the product to a Christmas visitor and she will be ordering one for her own collection of Michele watches upon her arrival home. Furthermore, when I have over 40 watches, to pay $29.95 to house 18 of them as opposed to to $100.00 to hold 6 just because it is real leather, the choice is clear. Also, I don't have enough space for multiple smaller units and this product does the trick as it is easy to display on my dresser top, or place in a drawer if necessary. This product is of substantial quality, holds many watches, is priced well, and is practical from a space saving, display, and storage perspective. I will continue to purchase this product as my collection grows as well as recommend it to others.

There are several more expensive and / or elegant solutions for watch storage. For me, I wanted something that was simple, sturdy, relatively inexpensive and which could hold my collection with room for expansion. This item is perfect in all of those categories.The main thing that I don't like about the case is that there isn't all that much room or space between each watch. I'm not personally a big fan of very large-faced watches but I know that it is something that appeals to many people. My largest comes in at 43mm while my average is about 39mm. I can say that my average watches fit next to one another when oriented in a slightly staggered fashion. The 43mm one has to sit either on an end, or with room on one side so as to fit properly. Watches as large as 47mm seem to be relatively common, and I could see trying to store several of those being a problem with this case once it reaches capacity.Overall, I'm very satisfied with this purchase and would easily make it again and/or recommend this product to a friend based on their specific needs.PROS:-Sturdy construction including a well-built latch-Good price-Clean, simple look-Holds several watchesCONS:-Space between watches could be better

This is actually a nice looking tray case. The glass seems to be plexi and I am not sure of the box material, but it's covered nicely. I thought this would have pillows or foam cushions to hold the watches but this has what I will describe as a jewelry store upside down U shaped watch holder. It's actually a metal holder wrapped in black material not plastic like the store displays. I really like these holders better than the pillows. The pillows are either too soft or too firm and tend to stretch or deform themselves or some bands and bracelets. These U holders can be formed to the exact size and shape you want to hold a leather or nylon NATO band or a metal bracelet all with or without butterfly clasps. The case is best for 30mm watches but you can fit the larger 40 - 45 mm watches in by staggering them up or down or even higher and lower. I have a couple upside down so the crowns are facing opposite directions.

This is great to organize watches. I can see them at a glance. The case is nice enough for the money, but the quality could be a little better, but it is functional for the purpose I intended. It was shipped promptly. I am well pleased.

This display case looks very nice. I like the way the slots are made for each watch. If one used it for travel, you would want/need to place some piece of protection; ie, paper towels, cloth, etc. over the watches to keep from scratching the glass or the watch crystals. For use at home, as I am, this display case is perfect. The "lid" is high enough that the glass is well out of the way of contacting/touching the watches, big or small. I'm very pleased with it.

The construction was poor. When I opened the case, it did not have a hinge stop of any kind. But the hinge locks at 180 degrees open. The additional weight of the glass in the door caused the case door to force the locked hinge against the back wall of the case.This ripped the back wall of the case completely apart. I ended up glueing it back together and held it with clamps for 5 hours. When I tried it again, the glue held 4 more times and then the case broke apart again. I will have to epoxy the case and clamp it down to lock the corners again. There should be a hinge stop added to the side to prevent the case from opening further than 90 degrees open and then this will not happen again. Meanwhile, I will not buy this product again.

OK - I admit - jewelry junkie. I have so much costume jewelry I forget what I have. Thought that if I used this to hold bracelets I could see what I had. Works perfectly!!! Some reviews say box is cheap, made of paper (it is covered with a black paper) but since it fits my use, I have no complaints with the quality. Top is clear - not sure if it is really glass - and the case has latches to close it. Very pleased with purchase.
