I bought this to display my wedding jewelry and it absolutely stunning!!! I will say since it’s almost like a plaster, it does scratch easily. Honestly though, it’s for display so it’s not a big deal. It’s beautiful and a great buy!

I needed a lifelike mannequin so that my photographs would show customers approximately how the jewelry I make would look. As far as proportion to a real life person - not that far off, it looks different because it's a partial. For the price, it's a steal. Love the look, the base is weighted so it's not flimsy and has a classic look. Well worth the money!!!

This bust is not make to model earrings. The space between the ear lobe and neck is too narrow to fit posts into. You also do not have the proper space to fit french ear wires through. Not happy with this bust at all. I'll end up filling up the hold in the ear and using it to display short length necklaces. My order also arrived damaged at the base. Fortunately I can turn the damaged part to the backside so it won't be seen. You also need to be very careful when placing your jewelry onto the bust, it scratches like crazy. The piece feels as if its made of plaster.I won't be ordering another one in either white or black. Not happy with the product or the price.

I like it despite a few minor adjustments to keep in mind. I don't like the back of the ear/neck makes it difficult or impossible to get a hook earring in all the way. I have to use a rubber earring backing to hold the stud earring flush to the ear. And for clip-ons I have to hook a wire through the earring hole to clip on an earring to make it stay on. But its a great design and looks great when displaying jewelry. Despite adjustments I have to make at times. I like the display and would recommend to others who love a great look for displaying and/or taking pictures.

I've been looking for a decent photo prop for displaying my sales earrings for quite some time. It's surprisingly hard to find a mannequin with a normal sized pierced ear (many of the ones that do have ears feature ears that are too thick and not good for post earrings). When I came across this lovely-looking bust, it seemed perfect!I really love the aesthetic of this item. The half-face bust looks so sleek, modern, and sculptural, and the whole thing looks like a pretty piece of art. The long torso would certainly be good for displaying long necklaces. As for construction, mine arrived undamaged, and the pole fit into the base and bust with ease, and the whole thing felt stable.Unfortunately, that's where the good points end. First off, it's not realistically sized. It is far smaller than a real human's face (as compared with my face – I'm pretty average). The description claims that it is “8 1/4" wide x 5 1/2” deep x 19 1/2" tall” and that's pretty true for the height and depth. However, the width is actually smaller than stated, being only 7” wide at the base, and slightly narrower at the face. What it all amounts to is that the face is not realistically proportioned compared to a real person (unless you intended this bust to match a small child).Well, even though the size is off, I figured it'd still be good for earrings (the primary reason I got it). I'd read other reviews that claimed that it was hard to get fishhooks through the ear, and they were right. In fact, I tried all the major types of earrings, and none of them work. First, I tried a standard fishhook, and it wouldn't work because the ear is too close to the head. I'd have to bend the fishhook out of whack to make it fit, and I'm not keen on having to damage my fishhooks. Not that that matters much since my for-sale earrings are actually post earrings. Post earrings don't fit any better because you can't possibly get your finger behind the ear to get the backs on, and the posts just fall out otherwise. Lastly, I tried a hoop earring just for the sake of fairness, and it wouldn't fit either. So, the three most common earring types and none of them would fit. I'd say that's a resounding failure all around.I ended up returning my bust for a refund since it just doesn't reasonably work for any earrings. If you were just going to get this to display necklaces, I'd say it's okay for that purpose. However, if you want something nice to display earrings, I'd keep looking.
