(Just the same, don't try this at home with Grandmother's emerald, please!) The cover snaps closed tightly enough to keep the capsules in place and relatively still even if the case is upended.Professionals will want to note that these cases are excellent for display in a locked counter or window, but they do not lock and their thin profile makes them easy to purloin. These should be used for internal or lab purposes. If security is a concern, choose something stronger with more locking options. Otherwise, these fit the bill, and it's a great price when you buy this bulk package.

Great product for collectors. The trays stack well on top of each other. The containers are great for any kind of collector of small things because you can see through the clear plastic at the top. Coins would look great and be protected.

Foam does discolor over time. But hold gemstones well. Can do up to about ten carot stone more than that will need to get a large jar size. Trays included also stack very well so can get massive storage in a small space.
