These earrings are actually much prettier than the pictures in the listing show. They are a highly polished sterling silver, with very nice filigree work on the hearts, which are about a half inch tall. And the spring loaded clasps won't open unless you want them to, so these aren't going to fall out. I got these intending to give them to my granddaughter as a little graduation present, but I may have to buy her another pair since my wife seems to have confiscated them for herself. These are really nice, and more than worth the price.
