Made of quality metal, nice light weight to it and feels strong. However, the necklace length is more like 17” for the chain and 19” for the initial chain, on the tightest setting. Not 14” like the description says which is what I was looking for. Still will keep, it is a beautiful necklace for layering, was just looking for an actual choker style.

I have now owned this almost 4 months and worn it daily since and it has not tarnished. I leave it on when I shower. The only time I’ve taken it off is when I’ve gone to the swimming pool. Chlorine tarnishes precious metals, whether sterling silver or gold. This would obviously be no exception. The only part that lost color were two little loops the hold the chain clasp together, but it in the back and not noticeable. Everything else is still gold and shiny! I’ve gotten so many compliments.
