It is on the back and very visible when turned over- please see the photos I added.The necklace and cross pendant come in very giftable packaging- there is a wrap around the box and inside- there are ribbon handles you can take out- giving you a small gift bag. I also included a photo of this.The necklace can slip over the head or has an easy clasp to use (whichever way the man chooses to put it on). Beautiful chain and pendant. I got this for my husband but didn't realize it said Best Dad Ever on the back. But good thing we have kids so it wasn't a big deal. This cross and necklace is very well made. It's very sturdy an looks like it will stand the test of time. It also came in a nice box. It was delivered fast and packaged well. I definitely recommend.
