It's a cheap watch, but, it's a cheap watch. Don't have your expectations too high, it's $10.00. Keeps good time so far, so I know it isn't losing or gaining minutes a day. The cover doesn't open very wide and makes it a bit difficult to use. It looks and feels all right and it fit the bill as a gift for my teenage son. Don't have high expectations and you won't be disappointed.

I got the "Uncle" version of this pocket watch. It's a little smaller than most pocket watches I've owned, but most of them have been mechanical, not battery operated. So far, it seems sturdy enough, though I don't go out every day. The tight belt clip works better on the thinner belt loops one finds on slacks or dress pants than on the thicker belt loops on jeans, but I doubt it would come loose from any kind of belt loop except inordinately wide ones. I wish the locking mechanism opened on the "3" instead of the "12," but that might be a bit of right-handed selfishness on my part. As a relatively cheap "gag" watch, I love it, but it's also working just fine as an "every once in a while" pocket watch, too. Now that I think of it, if you rotate your pocket watches, this could easily slide into a once or twice a week slot in your rotation.

I watched my wife give this to her grandpa and he cried. Is there anymore that I need to say? Heartfelt gift with an incredible reaction. As far as function, I couldn’t tell you a thing, but artistic or decorative it truly is a wonderful piece.

The media could not be loaded.  I was searching for dad gifts, and I was happy this was available. I thought about giving my dad a pocket watch for a very long time, and then I just always go with something else. I'm pretty sure he's never had a pocket watch, but something tells me that my dad is going to love this pocket watch. So I'm very excited to give it to him. To be honest, I didn't expect it to be as beautiful as it is. I am very impressed with the mirror finish. It's just a beautiful pocket watch. I love the packaging, which is super important when it comes to jewelry or trinkets like this. It would have been a bust if this wasn't packaged right. I absolutely love that it's also gift ready from the packaging; huge plus in my book!

Adam, Kim’s carefully packaged and sealed. The actual watch itself seems to be made of quality materials and durable. Heavy in your hands, but not too heavy inscription on the back is very well done with no grammatical errors. Chain is a little dainty, but can be easily replaced with a more durable stronger one. Makes an excellent gift for a loved one.
