This necklace is lovely and exactly right for the dress it will be worn with. The blue color is slightly lighter than the image suggests. When I removed the necklace from the package, it was broken. Where one side connects to the star-shaped center flower, the loop of metal had either pulled open or partially broke off. I was able to manipulate the remaining ring in order to reconnect the two pieces with a small jeweler's pliers. I believe it will hold, but it was disappointing to find the necklace in that state straight out of the package.
