These are COMICALLY large. And that was exactly what I wanted! They’re for a rocky horror cosplay, and these are perfect for Frank’s ensemble.I haven’t had any issues with the clasp yet, and despite the heft of the ‘pearls’ the elastic or string holding them all seems very sturdy. Do be cautious if you have long hair though, you might get yourself tangled.

I bought this for a costume party where I was dressing as Wilma Flintstone and the oversized nature of this necklace was perfect for the occasion. The one and only time I wore it (on Halloween) it broke almost right away.Instead of a typical closure or clasp on the back of the necklace it has some sort of T shaped bar that holds onto a ring from the other side. Uncommon, but it seemed secure enough so I wasn't concerned about it coming undone.The T shaped thing in the back kept grabbing my hair which was in a tight bun so there wasn't exactly loose hair to grab. it was super annoying.THEN....The necklace just fell off in the car within an hour of me putting it on. Once I got to my destination I had to have a friend tie my necklace on with string since it was a crucial element of my costume.Otherwise, it fit the bill but the clasp sucks.

I remember reading a previous review that said the necklace broke while a buyer was wearing it. But I bought this necklace anyway. And the necklace legitimately snapped at the clasp/hook part the moment I took it out of the package. That aside, this was relatively cheap and will serve as a costume accessory--so I can work on a temporary repair. There are 15 total jumbo pearls. It fits snugly around my neck (I have a thin neck). Each pearl is slightly bigger than a quarter (photo for reference), and the lead chain doesn't add any significant length. The necklace length isn't adjustable. It's roughly 17 inches around.

The necklace is beautiful and very inviting to look at. I received a few compliments on it --- and I was pleasantly surprised how comfortable it feels while worn, not bulky at all. I would recommend purchasing this item if you like big costume jewelry!!

Ok, the pearls are great quality, and the clasp is lovely. It seems well-made.I was looking for oversized pearls, but OMG THESE ARE TOOOOOOO BIG! The pearls are comically humongous ...Put your thumb and pointer finger together: that's how big each pearl is!!!It would maybe be good for a Marge Simpson costume. Seller, please put a photo of a human wearing the necklace on the site. The photos you have are a bit misleading.
