One of my friends has some of the bluest eyes I've ever seen, and she recently has been going through a rough patch--troubles of life with relatives' health, typical concerns of having 2 children under 5 but working full-time, issues with childcare. So when I saw this item, I immediately thought of her and her birthday late next month: she needs something nice just for her. And this necklace, once it arrived, did not disappoint--the colors of the stones and the case they were in are both so distinctive, so attractive. When held up to the light, the stones sparkle nicely no matter which side is forward. Of course a person wearing it won't have light shining through the necklace, though, so I took the picture against a black background to show just how nicely blue the stones are and just how delicate the chain will be on my friend, who's about 5'2" so who needs jewelry that doesn't seem inappropriately large for her size. If I hadn't already decided the necklace was for her, I might be tempted to keep it for myself or to gift it to someone else--but this distinctive, pretty necklace seems made for her and her gorgeous blue eyes. This blue stone square pendant will make her light up, I'm sure -- so I may give it to her sooner than her birthday to cheer her up! This item would be a great present for oneself or for a friend or relative.
