The media could not be loaded. I originally bought this pendant because I was a huge fan and devotee of Saint Michael the Archangel as well as my mother, we have a lot of faith in him. I was looking for one with a shield design depicting Michael defeating Satan and this one was the best one that I felt that ended my search.What’s more, even though I already have the prayer memorised, the entire prayer is nicely etched onto the back of the shield, small but extremely legible. It was a nice touch. I’ve NEVER took it off for the entirety of my ownership since the day I’ve received it from the mail. (Except maybe for medical appointments and such) Even thought about taking it to a priest to have it blessed but I felt like it has protected me regardless.I’ve showered with it, swam, sweat, and slept with it on day in—day out, etc. Hasn’t left my neck all this time. It is in great condition after all these years, half a decade. Still rocking it to this day. I’ve ordered a gold plated version a little while ago in the event something happens to this one or I lose it. No signs of tarnishing whatsoever, just a few tiny little scratches here and there but overall it’s been great. The end clasp somehow broke sometime last year, but I can still hook it onto the end of one of the box links! I would recommend and buy again for special friends and loved ones.
