I've tried dozens of spring band tools and this is the one you want. Whether you are a watch repairman of a do it your selfer this is the last one you will buy. Simply a fantastic spring bar tool. As soon as you pick it up you will feel the weight of it and how solid it is and you will know it's a quality tool. It has a very fine tip on the end that fits perfectly into the detent of the spring bar. It makes removing the band so much easier. Most of the tools have a big wide fork on the end that is to fat and not long enough to get to the spring bar without hitting back of the watch or being to large to get into the space between the band and the back. This tool is swiss made and has a very fine precision fork on the end to match the precision of swiss made parts and it's worth every penny. Can't say a negative thing about it.

Had previously been given a Watch tool kit and the first thing I noticed was how cheat the spring bar took it was. After researching online Bergeron was the spring bar tool of the pros and it did not disappoint. Love the weight and feel in hand, you can feel the quality. Recommend getting at least one if you do any strap changes as it’s better to have a quality one then a cheap one that scratches. A must have!

Stop throwing money away, stop getting frustrated, stop gouging the watch band, do the job right and buy the Bergeon Spring Bar Tool. There are several different tips you can purchase separately that screw in and stay put. And it’s Bergeon so it’s made in Switzerland and the best there is. And it’s CHEAPER in the long run because you’re not replacing it constantly and you’re not ruining another band because it slipped again. Just do it!
