This necklace looks like it was pictured. I like the heart shape with the butterfly inside. I chose purple because it’s my favorite color, not my birthstone. The chain is pretty short and doesn’t feel as strong as it looks in the pics. I will probably put it on a different chain. It comes in a nice box and would make a great gift. Overall I’m glad I got it.

This ruby birthstone, butterfly necklace by FJ is really beautiful. The sterling silver chain is the perfect length and smooth. It has a nice clasp and ring on it as not to cause aggravation when trying to connect it around my neck. I was pleasantly surprised because the pendant is larger than I expected it was going to be from the picture of it in the advertisement. When looking at this necklace there is no question that the design of it is a butterfly.If I had to offer any 'cons' about this necklace they would not be specifically about the item. It would be that it arrived packaged in a nice box but it was not packaged as a presentation piece, and it needed to be assembled. Of course assembling only required the pendant to be placed on the chain, but I think it would have presented much nicer had it already been attached.This is a very lovely necklace and I do recommend it, especially if the stone of your birth month is still available. I think all of them beautiful.

This pendant is so pretty! I love the heart, I love the pale purple butterfly, the chain is nice, and it's the perfect size (see photo with my finger for reference--it's roughly the size of a quarter). I adore butterflies, so this is absolutely perfect for me, and the color of the butterfly is such a pretty lavender that I think will be especially nice to wear as spring approaches. I am addicted to collecting pendants I can wear with my favorite box chains and when I saw this, it was an easy choice to grab it. It comes in a nice box for gift-giving if that's your decision, and it looks very well made (my skin likes to eat up silver that isn't silver, if you know what I mean, so I'll post an update if, in a few wears, the back of this is tarnished and not silver anymore). But it looks solid, sparkly, and pretty, so I'm excited to wear it and see how it holds up.
