The normal looking one is perfect . The second one with the vertical top is gorgeous but it is extremely hard to attach the top piece to the post . Need to allow for a deeper hole , so that you can twist it several times so that it connects easier to the post

I have used the 10 mm size for 15 years and decided it was too long and switched to the 6mm which is way too small the 8 mm is perfect . It’s not too long not too short and sits center of my belly button. Doesn’t rub or irritate skin

The top ball has prongs that dig into the piercing hole which caused my 3 year old (never any issues) piercing to start completely peeling and pussing. Do not recommend!
