I love these watches. Over the past 15+ years I have probably owned 4 or 5. They keep time well, durable, fashionable, easy to operate, and the indiglo works well and is easy to activate. For a plastic watch they are pretty durable because I beat the stuff out of them. I've always destroyed the watch before I've ever had a battery die. What usually does the watch in is that the band gets too damaged to repair and honestly it's just easier to buy a new one, than deal with finding another band I like as much as the original. This one replaced one that the band had come apart (sewing) that I had repaired already one time. I love the cloth bands and when they get a little funky, you just take the watch into the shower with you and scrub it up. I've never had any issues with the water resistance either. My only other slight complaint about this one if the little band that holds the loose band end down doesn't stay in place very well.

I'm not a fan of huge watch faces. I want something easy to read but small enough not to grab all the attention on my arm. Yet, the face is also large enough to be read easily and it includes a really nice LCD lighting of the digits. I also love a cloth band because I have allergic responses to metal and sometimes, to leather. So, this is essentially the perfect watch for me. It's tough and water-resistant, has a stopwatch and a timer feature. It displays day and date plus counts off seconds.

This was my second Timex Unisex (though it's a feminine color) Expedition Classic watch. I wore my first one out (after 3 years. I bought the first one at a local store and hunted the internet for one just like it to replace it with!). I love an inexpensive, non-leather (more durable) watchband that can be replaced if it wears out. I had another Timex (before I bought this model) that had the band "built into" the watch face. The strap was made of rubber. It lasted less than 3 months before the watchband broke.I was determined to find a better, more eco-friendly, long-lasting, replacement - and THIS WATCH was my solution. Like I said, it lasted 3 YEARS before it had to be replaced and I took it camping, hiking, biking, canoeing, to work, to school - You name it! This is a great watch for everyday, all-day, wear. And it's pretty enough for casual dates. I hope Timex continues to make this model because it is what it is: A Classic. And when you need a durable watch that's also enviro-conscious (durability vs. luxe green-washing), I support this model for active women, like me.The face does have plastic parts but the backing and "guts" are metal and the wristband is a tightly-woven fabric that doesn't smell after it gets wet, like leather wristbands do. The band detaches from the "body" of the watch so it can be replaced. It would be nice if Timex offered the wristband for sale separately, however, the band on my last watch lasted the entire 3 years without needing to be replaced. That says something about its durability! It's a Great watch for the price.

I love the Timex Expedition watches. I own so many I can't count them. I bought this because of the color. The watches work great and really hold up to wear and tear, trust me. I am a disaster responder and a vet tech. My family also owns a farm I manage. I really put my watches though the mill. I like the fact they have changed the design and put the light button on the face of the watch. The only thing I don't like about this individual watch is the band. It is uncomfortable. Most of my other watches I have changed out the band to a velcro one and I just haven't done it with this one yet because I haven't found a band with the right color. With a velcro band, the watch is very comfortable and easy to put on and off. The watch holds up to being wet and I have hand washed the band with the watch in place. I went from the analog to the digital because I found it too hard to time heart beats and stuff with a minute hand. The digital watch is better and I like that it has the date, stop watch and alarm on it.

Awesome Watch For Swimming or other Sports outside, easy to handle.

I have a super hands-on job as a landscaper, and while a cloth strap isn’t necessarily the most hygienic or best-smelling, I really like this watch. The little black cloth that’s keeps the strap in place is working nicely, the strap never slips out. I have a tiny wrist, like 2” in width, but this fits me perfectly at the second-to-last hole. As for the watch’s functions, everything works exactly as intended. I used to use a Velcro version and this version seems to have an updated timer and alarm system. For the countdown timer, instead of continuing to beep forever, the beeper will sound off for 10 seconds at a consistent pace. For alarms, the beeper will sound off for 10 seconds at the same pace as the timer beeper, but proceeds to speed up a half-step for the next 10 seconds before stopping at a total of 20 seconds. I don’t know if the alarm rings again after that, but my guess is that it eventually repeats the process until you click any of the buttons to tell it to stop. As usual, the setup is quick and painless. I don’t know about battery life for this watch, but my Velcro one is two years old and is still running.
