I'm at a bit of a loss because normally the first thing I do is test, test, test. The band here is stamped 925 and it does not react to a magnet, so I have no reason to doubt the metal composition (925 and 14k are both non-reactive to magnets). The next thing I'd do is thermo test the stones, but beryl (the mineral of which emerald is composed) has a low thermal conductivity, which means that it would (and does) test out the same as the primary cheaper substitute that I'd be trying to rule out (green cz). The white stones are white sapphire (at least I think since the description never changes from the blue sapphire channel ring), but they're far too small to test with any accuracy. Basically there's nothing quick and easy that I can do here to say yep, this is likely real, or nope, they're fudging on us. Nothing here is screaming at me that I should be wildly suspicious, though.The size is more or less accurate. I ordered an 8, actually hoping it would be a scant 8 because I'm more in the 7.5 range on my middle finger. It is a scant 8, but only just barely, so it's big on me. The band itself is pretty deep, as in top to bottom, so you'll feel it on your hand. Depending on how your size interacts with the stones, you may feel the settings. I have some of that at 8. Any smaller and it's probably going to be more pronounced. I'd actually be inclined to wear this as a thumb ring to avoid feeling the settings altogether, but it's too big, and thumb really does need accurate size because at least on me those are more prone to fly off if they're not snug enough.Visually, this looks very nice, as in exactly as presented. The green is vivid and the white stones aren't cloudy (at least to a level that would be obvious in tiny stones). It comes boxed in a tiffany-adjacent blue box with a little bow, and inside it's bagged with an anti tarnish tab.

I have to admit I teared up a bit when I saw this ring, it's very similar to what I gave my wife when I asked for her hand. I didn't have a lot of money, strike that, I didn't have ANY money but I knew I wanted to make her my wife for life so I got the only ring I could afford.Years later she still has that ring and she told me she would have been livid if I had spent the down payment for a house on a ring. We've been married for 32 years now and that was the best decision I've ever made.

Due to the price, I assumed this was going to be a quality product that was made of quality material. When I first opened the box, I was content with the look and style. Unfortunately the positives stop there.It’s too big for one and the biggest issue (as seen in my pictures above) it turns your finger, and the surrounding fingers, black. It hideous. Elegant ring. It’s quite pretty and definitely feels sturdy. Sparkly too, in the right light.Not an every day wear ring for me for sure, as it feels and looks dressier. Also, if you are texture sensitive, it feels similar to milgrain. It is also a little bulky (personal opinion) but overall…It’s beautiful and a worthwhile purchase. I’ll update my review if any issues arise.
