Bought this necklace on a whim, been liking swans lately. It is a darker gold than pictured, and the chain i comes on is quite short. The charm itself is the same, bit bigger than I expected(approx an inch tall and wide)I do wish it had been the trendy pale golden color pictured instead of the classic brassy gold, but it's a nice necklace for casual wear regardless. As for the quality of metals used, I have sensitive skin, and haven't reacted in the few hours I've had it on today, but I'll update if there's an allergy later on(I didn't think of this when ordering!)EDIT: well after a few uses the chain started leaving red marks on my neck, so I threw the chain out and bought a replacement, real gold chain that I can use with any gold-ish charms like this one. At $3 it's still worth it for a pretty charm that I enjoy wearing.
