I put the pin on a dollar bill to better show the size. Clip is not a closure type. Can't say it will but might have to be careful as it's not a locking pin back. I would not pin this to thin cloth clothing like silk. I love it. Work great for my needs.

At first glance it looked pretty but upon further observation I noticed it was cheaply made. One of gives the illusion it was glued poorly on and its not even able to be pinned on because that piece is bent on one side and it won't even catch to stay on anything.

It's large and looks great from a distance, but the red bits were horribly scratched and the latch was irreparably loose - it wasn't ideal for wearing, as it would fall open almost immediately, but does fine enough as a decoration if secured well.You get what you pay for, I suppose.
