Considered buying one with genuine pave set diamonds, however the cost for the ones I found was just to prohibitive. I struck gold(Lol-it's actually sterling silver w a dusting of pave cz stones!!!) when I came across this piece. It really is probably the most beautiful snowflake necklace I have ever seen. I prefer most jewelry to be 'authentic/genuine' gold-either yellow or white. This has the appearance of white gold and the stones truly do look like diamonds-they sparkle and shine like the real thing! Was so impressed with this necklace that I invested in a 2nd purchase-I put it away and will keep it in the event that I should need a gift for a special someone. HANDS DOWN, ONE OF THE BEST PURCHASES I'VE EVER MADE IN MY 10+ YEARS OF SHOPPING ON AMAZON--that's right...EVER! Included with pendant is a cute pink velvet pouch for storing when not being worn, and there is a small polishing cloth included as well! Don't hesitate or even think twice in your decision to buy...Whether it's for yourself or a gift for a family member or friend, I guarantee you will absolutely LOVE THIS NECKLACE!!
