Horus, an Egyptian sky god

His symbol the falcon appears in the ancient pyramid texts. The "Horus Eye" emerges from the battle between Horus and his father's jealous brother. During this battle Horus lost his left eye. Upon his victory he traveled to raise his father, Osiris, from the dead and offer him his sacrificed eye.

This is a cool little ring. I like that it’s adjustable, but it is done in a way that looks sleek and cool rather than cheap. The lapis lazuli is pretty. I love that this comes with a card to give you some background on the symbol. The reason for the reduced star: The gold band is a little less “gold” tone than I was expecting. It’s much darker than my other gold jewelry, which makes it impossible for me to match with my other jewelry.
