Assembly was simple, the metal uprights just pop in. The downside is, they can pop out easily as well. They don't lock into place.The wood base is natural, not treated with anything. So be careful not to spill anything on it, because it can stain.The rotating base is all plastic, so its a bit clunky and turns slowly. It's also not very quiet.This holds a ton of items. It's great for retail display or just for personal storage.I can fit 3 items per hook, and there are 64 hooks, so it can hold up to 192 items.For personal storage, I'm going to cut out pieces of cardboard to mount my earrings to. It's perfect for rings and earrings, but bracelets or larger jewelry may take up more than one hook.
