I don't think these are actually gold plated. I have sensitive ears (even to sterling) and these still bother them. I think these are sterling silver with a rose gold plating of some other metal. But they are solid, beautiful, and I love wearing them for a few hours. Not my every day earring like I was hoping. The post is bigger around but if it wasn't it would snap from too much bending. You have to be able to bend it a little to pinch to your ears.

I love the look of these earrings, the only problem is the same as I had with the other pair of ear crawlers that I bought through Amazon, the post is too thick and hard to get through the holes in my ears, makes it very uncomfortable to wear

These are pretty. Wonderful colour, however they are you big and heavy to be worn comfortably. I couldn't get them to stay put without an earring back at the bar and end to hold them in place. They are also quite long so they can't be worn with another pair of earrings.

The earrings are beautiful. They have q tendency to fall off my ears thoufh. I really have to pinch and bend the metal back to get them to stay on. I fear that this will cause the back to break off sooner rather than later.
