Simple and well done. The leather is nice and I like the classic display. Worth spending the extra few bucks for

I'm a watch collector, enthusiast and restore vintage watches as a hobby when time permits. I'm also a fan and participant in vintage auto racing- so when this watch came up, it was a no-brainer for me!The marketing on this watch is interesting as they try to distance themselves from the Chinese manufacture as much as possible. They focus on the European design and designers, yet when it comes down to it- the quality makes or breaks a watch. While the style is quite interesting and has a back-story that is relevant to my interests, based on the Ecurie National Belge race team from Belgium in the 50' and 60's. The style is meant to represent the vintage auto style but the font used appears more Asian than European - but still a very attractive watch. The bezels on the subdials are not recessed, which I think would have added a lot of style and give it a simple (read- lower end) appearance. One styling cue that I love and hate at the same time is the domed crystal. SO many match companies won't go domed anymore, but it's an unmistakably cool vintage look when sporting a dome. The hate part comes from the low grade mineral crystal on this watch which scratches easily with regular wear. If you set this watch down face-down a few times or brush against something, the dome will need to be polished out. A far superior sapphire crystal is not uncommon at this price range and is a serious mistake on behalf of Armogan, in my opinion. Comparing to the Armogan Le Mans, I'm not certain what the differences are other than the colors. The case is beautiful, with the best feature of the whole watch completely hidden on the back- the engraved wire wheel detail from a vintage car. Seriously, that's awesome but will remain your secret as nobody will ever see it. The band is attractive, thick and padded. The leather is designed to take on a patina quickly which greatly adds to the vintage vibe- you don't *want* a watch like this to look brand new. The down-side to this is that the tiniest abrasion leaves a permanent mark. Again, that adds to the patina but one can drag a fingernail across it with almost no pressure and leave a permanent mark. VERY comfortable band, though. Never skip buying a watch you like because of the band- it's simple to change and there are thousands upon thousands of bands available for every style and preference.Functionally, this has a popular Japanese Miyota movement inside. This movement is so reliable, it's a staple in quality but inexpensive watches. If this watch has an issue outside of warranty, any competent watch shop could repair it or replace the movement inexpensively. The subdials are useful, as the one at 3 gives you a 24 hour indicator so you know if it's AM or PM, but it's linked to the main display so you cannot run two separate time zones using the subdial, which is a little disappointing... I like to keep GMT on a subdial on my other chronographs and local time zone on the main dial. The date is a window at 6 instead of a dial, which is a good thing. The other subdial at 9 is for the stopwatch function only. The large "second hand" as most people call it is really for the stopwatch function and the color contrast on this and the subdial hands is classy. One of the things which bother me about this watch is that the large stopwatch hand won't center properly when parked. It's off by a few degrees and re-parking it doesn't solve the problem. Other people have noted this deficiency as well and nobody has been able to solve it without disassembly. Many Miyota movements, while reliable, sometimes don't home properly on some functions. The subdials appear to be fine, which is nice but wouldn't be surprising.SUMMARY: As it stands, this is a very attractive watch with a good, reliable, yet inexpensive movement running the show. The domed crystal, while a unique touch- is fragile and prone to damage, as is the leather band. The style is elegant and somewhat vintage, but simple... and maybe just a little too simple as it lacks fine detail. It "simply" looks good.SOAPBOX: In my opinion as a watch collector, enthusiast and amateur restorer is that if presented with this watch and no pricing information, I would have estimated the price in the $120-$150 range due to the lack of mineral crystal, simple dial and lower end (but decent) movement. There are just so many pop-up brands in watches, mostly sourcing Chinese manufacture which can range from terrible to spectacular- making it a confusing market. I would not be impressed at full retail of $199 as of the writing of this review in March 2020. It's in the comparison to other available watches where this one starts to lose favor. I believe Armogan missed an opportunity by putting the wire wheel detail on the back instead of front- and didn't even include the E.N.B. logo or style, despite naming the watch after the E.N.B. vintage racing team. A themed watch, but lacking the theme?

Armogan's Chronograph Watch is very nicely made, classic looking, and comfortable. The Armogan is sturdily constructed with a stainless steel body and a padded leather band. The materials used are very high quality and the watch looks and feels like a high-end piece. I wish the packaging was a bit more special, however, as it's just a cardboard box.The watch's face is very attractive and timeless looking. The silver face, serif font, blue subdials, and blue / yellow hands all combine to make an elegant timepiece that isn't boring or stuffy. The leather band has a weathered finish. There are two subdials on the watch. One is a 24-hour dial and the other is a 60 minute countdown. The second hand on this watch is actually a chronograph. Typically it is stationary at the 12 o'clock position. It only moves when you press the button above the crown. It counts down the seconds, and the 60 minute subdial moves with it. To reset it you press the button below the crown. There is a date window at the 6 o'clock position. The watch's face is easy to read at a glance. The watch fits me well as a 5'6" and 135 pound male. I wear my watches snuggly and the band offered plenty of adjustability for me. It is comfortable to wear all day.All in all... a beautiful timepiece.

This watch is everything I want in a timepiece. Craftsmanship, design, and feel. The watch face has a classic look, but with a couple of the hands being yellow, it also has a contemporary flair. The face is a bit larger than others, but looks great with just about everything. The band is very nice leather with quality lines. Overall, this is just a really nice watch for the money. I'm really happy with it.

This is an eloquently vintage watch that offers an attractive contrast of the silver, white and blue frame and face. Combined with the leather strap this creates a combination that covers all the bases of a watch for men that can work in almost any setting from outdoors to business casual. It is a cool combination that goes against the grain of smart watches or flashy watches. I think this presents a confident and refined image.I am surprised at the price range for this watch. The price in the $200 range belies the image of a casual watch for confident wearers. I also think this watch is on par with watches in a lesser price range, even though it is a quality watch with elegant features. The watch band is nice vintage looking leather; however this band is relatively small, as I have it on the second to last hole, and I think I have normal sized wrists. The leather scratches easily.I do have some concerns about the fragility of the watch face that is domed and is vulnerable to scratching.

Beautiful brown leather with a sleek yet classic face. My husband finds himself reaching for this watch over any of his others, including the smartwatches. It's such a sleek, classy look that pairs well with almost everything. The touch of blue and yellow on the hands and alternate timers is just stunning. Easy to set and adjust and provides accurate time. I would highly recommend this watch! Great for gifting or for spoiling yourself.
